What belongs in a conversation
You may choose to provide a name, email address, mobile number, preferred part-time role area, availability, or the contents of a question. SMS-related information can include a consent choice, an opt-out instruction, or a request for help. Please avoid sending unrelated sensitive documents or information about another person without permission.
Why context may be needed
When a relevant communication service is active, information you supply may be used to answer questions, review part-time interests, organize correspondence, and manage message preferences. It may also support security or applicable legal obligations. The information needed for one purpose should not automatically become an invitation to send unrelated marketing.
A boundary around mobile information
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent will not be sold, rented, or provided to third parties for their own marketing. Choosing texts concerns Higkel LLC's program and does not authorize someone else's promotional messages.
Limited help from service providers
If supporting services are enabled, providers assisting with message delivery, hosting, security, or compliance may process the information reasonably necessary for that task. Their support role does not permit use of SMS opt-in data for their own marketing. Information may also be disclosed where a valid legal obligation requires it.
Changing the way we communicate
For an active SMS subscription, reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. You can also direct preference questions to pablo@higkel.com. A job-interest inquiry or general contact message is separate from SMS consent. Completing a website form does not itself establish that a subscription has been activated.
Keeping only useful records
Where information is actually received, retention should reflect the purpose of the communication, applicable obligations, and the need to maintain suppression or consent records. Reasonable safeguards should limit inappropriate access and use. No method of communication or storage is completely secure, so please do not include passwords or unnecessary financial details.
Reviewing your own details
Contact pablo@higkel.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information held about you. Describe the relevant communication without sending excessive personal material. Reasonable identity checks may be necessary. Applicable recordkeeping obligations or the need to honor an opt-out may limit what can be deleted immediately.
Not a channel for children
This website and its text program are not directed to children under 13. Higkel LLC does not seek personal information from children in that age group. If you believe a child has supplied information, email pablo@higkel.com with enough context to identify the concern and consider appropriate action.
